Kooikerhondje GB

On the 10th June 2012 we shall be holding two back to back single breed open shows at Steventon Village Hall, Oxfordshire.  The schedules are now available for download from the Links and Judges List page.

As always we aim to make the day as enjoyable as possible for all involved.  A number of fun activities shall be run on the day with all proceeds going towards Kooikerhondje Welfare, further details shall follow.  Hot and cold food and drinks shall be sold throughout the day.  This year we are delighted to welcome Ray McDonald Photography to our shows.  As well as capturing the winners Ray will be pleased to photograph any of your dogs on the day. Examples of Ray’s work can be viewed on www.roanjora.co.uk photographs are reasonably priced and of a very high quality.

Our shows are open to all Kooikers, including seasoned showers and pets that are yet to see a show ring.  We look forward to see as many of you as possible on the day.

The 2012 Kooikerhondje Club of Great Britain AGM shall be held at 11.00am on Sunday 26th February.  This year the meeting shall be held at Old Weston Village Hall, Main Street, Old Weston, Cambridgeshire PE28 5LL.

The AGM shall be followed by a club match, this year to be judged by Miss Roxanne McDonald.

Please note that only fully paid up members of the club may vote during the AGM, but the match shall be open to all Kooikers.  Membership fees shall be accepted on the day of the AGM.

We hope to see many of you there!

The website shall be updated shortly with reports from 2011 and up coming events in 2012.

In 2011 we will be celebrating 20 years of the Kooikerhondje Club of Great Britain. It will also be 25 years since Inga and Baron became the first Kooikers to be imported into the UK. As a club we couldn’t let these anniversaries pass unmarked.

We will be holding our first single breed Open Show on Sunday 12th June 2011 at Steventon Village Hall in Oxfordshire.

Our judge for the show will be Mr Geoff Luscott.

The show will be followed by village fete games and activities, you may even get the chance to soak the odd committee member! This is a family event, so everyone is welcome, please come along and help us make it a day to remember!
